"Mataruri Bay" Last May I found a long piece of rope on the beach at Matauri Bay, Northland, on my annual beachcombing trip to 90 Mile Beach. I have enclosed the length into a perspex case I found in the New World supermarket carpark here in Browns Bay. The Photoshopped image below gives an idea as to how the work could look in a contemporary setting:
